- I think Kenneth is right about not much interest (by Sunroze). I actually
- spoke with them on the phone about getting developer information. They
- basically didn't want to be bothered. They told me they had an old
- dev kit from V1.0 I could probably have, but it didn't really work
- anymore (for V3.x) anyway (attitude problems).
-
- So I asked, why not make a a V2/V3 version, duh? They reply was that it
- was too much work, took too much programmer time from directly improving
- Studio16, and nobody wanted it anyway! He said they had only ever had
- 2 or 3 requests for the info. No wonder! Who wants to waste their time
- with a worthless package! And didn't the programmers themselves use a
- library of calls with some header information? Wouldn't copy DF0: work
- and not take up -too- much soon-to-be unemployed programmers time? Even
- something not documented is infinitely better than the zip they gave out.
-
- If they had been more interested in making their hardware more generally
- useful they might still be selling hardware.
