  12. I think Kenneth is right about not much interest (by Sunroze). I actually
  13. spoke with them on the phone about getting developer information. They
  14. basically didn't want to be bothered. They told me they had an old
  15. dev kit from V1.0 I could probably have, but it didn't really work
  16. anymore (for V3.x) anyway (attitude problems).

  18. So I asked, why not make a a V2/V3 version, duh? They reply was that it
  19. was too much work, took too much programmer time from directly improving
  20. Studio16, and nobody wanted it anyway! He said they had only ever had
  21. 2 or 3 requests for the info. No wonder! Who wants to waste their time
  22. with a worthless package! And didn't the programmers themselves use a
  23. library of calls with some header information? Wouldn't copy DF0: work
  24. and not take up -too- much soon-to-be unemployed programmers time? Even
  25. something not documented is infinitely better than the zip they gave out.

  27. If they had been more interested in making their hardware more generally
  28. useful they might still be selling hardware.
